Larry is a native of mid-coast Maine where has built a home and raised a family. He is the father of two grown daughters; Alicia, who is attending Northeastern Graduate School medicine and working as a nurse at Mass General, and Christina, who works in the restaurant business and lives in Wiscasset.

He is a third generation Realtor, following in the footsteps of his grandparents, George & Louis Stickney, his mother Blanche Johnson and cousin Judy Callahan. After completing study at Andover College to receive his real estate license, Larry continued his education at the Maine Real Estate Training Academy and at DeWolf's corporate office's in Portland, ME. Larry views education as a career long endeavor to say abreast of the dynamics of the real estate industry. This proves to provide his clients with the very best knowledge and service.

Larry's entrepreneurial approach to business has resulted in a diverse background which benefits his real estate clients. As a sub-contractor in all aspects of the building trades, Larry learned the skill to design and build his own home in Wiscasset. In the capacity as a professional arborist, he built and managed his own business as president of Arbor Care, Inc. Most recently he was recruited by Asplundh Tree Experts for his expertise to develop a residential, commercial and municipal tree service throughout the state of Maine. Maine is one of only three areas in the U.S. that Asplundh offers residential tree service.

In his spare time Larry loves to spend time with his fiance, Kim Horstman, restoring their historic home and gardens and sport touring on their BMW K1200S. In the winters you can find him practicing falconry in the salt marshes along the Maine coast with his faithful Brittany, Polaris, at his side.
